Thank you for the link, Bob. I have seen very few photos of #26 while she was "at work." I can see a lot of creases in her sides. Apparently, there were many close clearances in the Eddystone facility. Many of these creases are still on her; although the current tender is a replacement.

For those interested, #26 is still getting a new firebox, with tackwelds holding various sheets in place. All of her rigid staybolts are in, as well as most of her flexible stays. The radial stays will be added soon, and rivets will follow on the mudring. Completed welding will take place along with this, also. This 0-6-0 needed a lot more work than anyone expected in 2000. When she returns to service, hopefully this year, she will have all new tires, a new cylinder sleeve, new firebox, new tubes and front tubesheet, and new wooden cab interior. It is predicted that she won't need this level of work again until sometime in the 22nd Century.
