Is this car, at the National New York Central Museum in Elkhart, Indiana, really an ex-NYC car? I've heard it could be ex-Rock Island.

It is ex-Rock Island, built in 1939 for one of the Rockets.

Without consulting my research material, I want to say it was for the MN Rocket. It's been over two years since I was looking into it.
