And now there's loony talk by Union Station management of pulling up the remaining tracks. Guys, it's a RR station, remember? |

I'm pretty sure that this doubled as "Grand Central Station" for John Carpenter's movie, "Escape from New York." Even as a kid, I thought it was funny to have the former NYC station way in the future, with a couple of non-Amtrak passengers coaches sitting on it's tracks, one of the a GM&O one! |
