Hasn't been updated in three years, though. The web is often like those old advertising signs painted on brick buildings; nobody bothers to take them down when you stop paying the rent until something better comes along to pay for the work. |

Yes, apparently nobody is left at the wheel, but then the NOBSKA did not have a wheelhouse the last time I saw it being ripped apart, so perhaps this ending is appropriate. I also thought it was curious that the New Bedford Standard-Times, which printed lots of gooey "feel good" articles at the beginning of the project about how the ship was going to be used to educate the city's children, had almost nothing to say about the ship as its scrapping became imminent. |
