Watch the forums at trainorders.com. They're really good about stuff like that. The PR man from UPRR even participates. joshuakblay@hotmail.com |

The Challenger 3985 moves have been posted for weeks on this website, you only needed to look in the Timetable. This was the last day of the moves so I deleted it tonite. Cursing will not get you close to steam engines, but paying attention to what is at your disposal might. Brian Hebert RyPN Timetable bhebert@rypn.org |

In addition to John Bromley of the UP's Pulblic Relations Department, another regular on trainorders.com is Bob Krieger of the UP Steam Team. He is also a regular in their chat room, as recently as Sunday night. kevingillespie@usa.net |

I had a post on this board on October 17, asking for Challenger schedule information, and John Bromley posted a response the same day. |

Well I thought I was keeping myself informed. Im not blaming anyone here but myself, Im just mad at myself for letting this even come this close and go without me realizing it. I read this forum, railfan board, steam forum, as well as alot of other steam sites and I never thought an event that I could attend could pass me up. This is how I learned of the 844 run out of Houston a few years ago that was cancelled, but I had tickets...and the Big Easy steam train.. I just hope I dont miss anything else. You guys up north dont realize theres no big steam down here. Alan adofmsu@aol.com |
