Post subject:  St. Thomas Museum Threatened

If you missed it in Flimsies, the Elgin County Railway Museum, located in the former Michigan Central shops at St. Thomas, Ontario is being threatened with demolition due to development.

Well this stinks!
I just looked at the SOLRS website yesterday and it said steam would hopefully be back this year. I was looking foward to visiting again.
I know its early yet but if the museum has to move will they team up with the Port Stanely railway and move down there? They could move to Niagara Falls and I promise I would join then - its a big tourist area - think of the money......
Well, in all honesty I hope everything goes well for the groups in St. Thomas. I guess I better plan a road trip this summer before its too late
