Anyone know how the Feb. 7 and 8 test run from New Orleans to Baton Rouge and return turned out. There's a nice photo of the engine under steam at the KCS yard in New Orleans on the LASTA web site, but nothing about the trip's success. Frederick G. Bailey |

Apparently, it went very well. No mechanical problems. From what I heard, it was a very successful test run. |
