I haven't studied this, but it appears to be a website from which a portion of retail purchases can be applied to preservation causes. Some of the participants are major chains.

I've signed the Colfax RR Museum up for the program. I'll report in a couple of months on results.

iGive.com is similar. The Trolley Museum of New York has been linked to iGive for several years.

It was difficult to decide which category to list under. "Museum" had several listings including a few rail related ones

Hii Mark and Everyone,
We have had pretty good success with iGive. We have had about $70 dollars donated to our society with just one or two people shopping so far.
The thing is with any of these is if you have members signed up who do a lot of shopping online. The more people shop for your organization the more is donated to you.
As an example. if you haven anyone who wants a subscription to Trains Magazine then you can get a donation of up to 26% per subscription. for a $30 dollar subscription you make an average $7.5 in donations
As I mentioned eairler we have had some donation brought in by using iGive and it can be better if more people use it.
Andrew
