It has come to my attention that ex NYC E-8 number 4084 is being offered for sale. The unit was rebuilt, rewired, and upgraded by VMV for New Jersey Transit. From NJT it went on to become New Georgia 6902. The most recent use of the locomotive has been on excursion trains out of Nashville, TN where it is located today. It is said to run very well.
