Interesting stuff on this proposed museum in Niskayuna, NY, which never came about. It was to be a large, modern campus with displays ranging from a submarine to the steeplecab Black Maria locomotive.

Both North Shore cars and both pieces of equipment from Ponemah Mills (the historic "Black Maria" locomotive and a small work motor) went to the Connecticut Trolley Museum in the early 1970's. NYC S-motor #100 was somehow involved in the AME for a time, I believe, and it ended up with the Mohawk & Hudson NRHS chapter. More information can be found at http://www.bera.org/pnaerc.html by searching on "American Museum of Electricity" in the second search menu box.
