It's actually located in Markham Ontario on Langstaff Road E near Young Street and Highway 407, just north of Toronto.

I don't think she's beyond hope. There are a few basic cosmetic improvements that are relatively easy to bring her up as eye candy, and perhaps stave off future rusting. The most obvious is a good coat of paint. Some sheet metal work and bondo might stopped some of the serious deterioration in the bunker area and cab sides. Replace the wooded pilot beams and plank decking. A couple of railfans could do that in a few weekends. She's worth saving.

Who owns her, and do they want her?

Am I wrong in thinking she's big for an 0-4-0T?

It is privatley owned, and yes, they do want her. they are not willing to part with her yet. Our museum has been in contact with them regarding this engine, as it fits our collection scope, being originally from Welland Ont. She's in far worse shape than what you see in the photos. I did a fairly thorough inspection on her in August. She's worth saving, but there is a lot of work to do before she'll even move. (certain things have to be removed before she leaves the property!)
