big fire there. they lost a lot of vbintage stuff in it. never did hear a cause.

The fire swept the roundhouse like a wind storm. Much the collection was destroyed, including extremely historic equipment. Much of the more modern steam power was serviceable. To liken it to an American site, imagine the B&O Museum leveled by a similar conflagration.
