Hey everyone,

Coming this summer, I'm organizing a private (reservations only) photo charter at the WMSR. This trip includes runbys at some notable locations, steam and diesel power, and a night photo session. For those wondering the trip has been confirmed and I can start taking reservations.

"Our Photo Special is a steam-powered mixed train on the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad, pulled by 2-8-0 #734, built in 1916 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works (Philadelphia, PA) for the Lake Superior & Ishpeming Railroad in upper Michigan. She was acquired in 1991 and has been extensivly overhauled to resemble a WM 2-8-0. Our consist will include about 10 freight cars; including a boxcar, several gondolas, two types of hoppers, and a caboose. You have the opportunity to ride either in the caboose, or in one of the WMSR’s passenger coaches. The trip will be limited to about 50 patrons due to capacity reasons at some photo locations. "

Photo Freight Fare: $115
Night Photo Session: $30

These are exceptionally good rates for an all day/night photo freight!

If you'd like more information, and are possibly interested in reserving a spot, shoot me an email and I'll send you a flyer.
