Brief but somewhat rare home movie footage of Dr. Kendall's tiny Heisler (operable today in Vermont), when operating on the Jenks Skyline RR at an amusement park in Oklahoma: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYM8jgs44PQ |

Is it me, or is that an interurban car that the locomotive is pulling? I didn't get a good look at it, but it looks like a former Oklahoma Railways car. Anyone know? |

Might have been one of the Union Railway cars originally Coffeeville Kansas, then to Sand Springs 69-74. They were discontinued circa 1955. No couplers but could have been pulled with a flat iron towbar as a trailer without brakes. What is the date of the film? Bob Kutella |

I think you are right. I recall seeing a picture of this operation in Trains many years ago. Always wondered what happened to the car. It would be quite a find if it survived! |
