I realize this may be looking for the proverbial needle in a haystack, but I am searching for photos of two CB&Q waycars that I am involved in restoring. The cars are CB&Q 14120 and 14649, both of which are now in Colorado. If anyone out there has shots of either of these cars or other information on them, it would be geatly appreciated.

Thanks

Jason,
Try contacting the Burlington Route Historical Society. They have a website at www.burlingtonroute.com. I don't see either of these waycars listed in their data base of existing cars. I'm sure someone can help you with photos and I'm equally sure that they would like to know of the existence of the two cars and information concerning restoration efforts. There is also a Yahoo Group dedicated to the Burlington Route. You might receive a faster response if you post on that board. Good Luck.

Don & Jason,

The BRHS list of extant waycars is very incomplete and has not been updated in over 7 years. I have sent them dozens of additions, corrections, and deletions over the years, none of which made it to their listings!

I have a listing from this century, not the last century. A note to me at "@beyondbb.com" will get you a copy.

Cheers, Roger
