Post subject:  The Valley Forge Scenic RR Story Forthcoming

For those of you who wax nostalgic for tourist lines, I am currently putting the finishing touches on an article all about the rise and fall of the defunct Valley Forge Scenic RR which ran in 1968-1969 on the Reading's Pickering Valley branch using ex-GM&O 4-6-2 No. 425, later of BM&R fame. The article will likely appear in an upcoming issue of the RCT&HS's The Bee Line and includes some great photography by George Forero and others. Like my Wawa & Concordville feature, it will leave no stone unturned.

Stay tuned.

P.S. I'll post a blurb on Rypn when it is finally available for mass consumption, for those of you so-inclined.
