Just for the record, the Burlington converted O5A #5614 from a coal burner, as pictured, to a class O5B oil burner. That may well be why she is still with us. Of the four surviving Q 4-8-4's, two are class O5A coal burners (numbers 5631 and 5633) and two are class O5B oil burners (the 5629 in addition to 5614). One thing that makes the 5614 different from the other three survivors is that she has a standard Burlington cab. The other three CB&Q Northern's have all-weather cabs.

Yes, it was interesting that oilburners like the late 5632 and 5614 ended up in coalburning territory, while coalburners 5631 and 5633 ended up in Wyoming, where they were never used and would have burned oil if they had. The oilburners were Lincoln-based engines.
