Too bad everything metal wasn't made out of stainless steel. On Saturday the Flying Yankee restoration committee rolled out the beautifully restored center ( or "B" ) car. They also brought out the end car in it's perfectly gutted state. Remarkable how the stainless has withstood sitting outside in Carver, MA for 40+ years. Kudos to the restorers for the fantastic job inside and out on the B car!!! GMill@earthlink.net |
