This is an invitation to all readers of the Interchange to come and see our "Santa Train" operations at the South Carolina Railroad Museum.

Santa Trains will run on the 2 weekends after Thanksgiving Nov 24 & 25 / Dec. 1 & 2. Saturday trains run from 9:30 to 4, Sunday trains from 1 to 4. Contact the Museum at www.scrm.org for more info.

Motive power will consist of ex-USATC SW-8's #2028 and 2015 (EMD 1951), and the train will consist of 3 former CN deux-montaine commuter cars, and our former Southern Rwy. Dining car.

The operating toy train display this year includes 1917 Ives standard gauge, pre-war Lionel, and postwar American Flyer and Marx.

As an added inducement for you all to come...you will get to see yours truly portraying Santa all 4 days .... it should be interesting.
