OOh, that's funny! People are always poking fun at us steam fans. That one takes the cake.

Ehhh. Done far worse, such as climbed fifty feet up a telephone pole in Bellefonte, Pa. for a clear shot of PRR 1361 in 1987. I know that there are shots of me waist deep in Red Clay Creek during a Wilmington & Western event, and chest deep in creeks/rivers at Cass and Durbin during some trips there........ and no, no scuba gear, either............

I got a few myself, but nothing so funny as the scuba divers, though… I was at Chehalis where they stopped for servicing. Man, what a wall of humanity! You could easily tell the difference between the train buffs and the gawkers. The train buffs jockeyed for photos of the train with no people around. The "normal" public all had to have photos of their kids right up against the locomotives, drawing the ire of those who'd spent all day waiting to get a "clean" shot of the engines...

I also have more RR photos I'm expanding here, most of them are from the day of this trip: http://www.railroadforums.com/photos/sh ... puser=4329
