From the Shop Foremen at the Connecticut Trolley Museum's Restoration Shop: Hi Everyone: We will be holding our next work session on Sunday May 20th. Family commitments have us tied up for Saturday. Well, we did it!!! 355 moved under her own power for the annual meeting. Dave Worth also made a show with 16, taking people for a ride down the tracks. It was great to see both cars running for the members and in tribute to Fred Bennett. Everyone did a great job!!!! Now we just have to finish. We have many things to do to finish 355. We will be hooking up the second set of motors. We need to finish setting up and adjusting the brake system. Many other things will be needed to finish up. Galen is also hoping to start the work to replace the first track in the Northern barn. I am also sure Dave can come up with a few things to do on 16. Finally - there is always the scraping of paint on car 169 to continue with. We look forward to seeing you this next session. For a look at what we accomplished last session: http://www.ct-trolley.org/restore.htm All Volunteers Welcome! Chris Chestnut and Galen Semprebon |
