For all you photo lovers, I ran across a photographer named John Dziobko
on railpictures.net who has a treasure trove of great photos. There's pictures of Liegh Valley steam circa 1950, Altoona shops at its zenith and and Feb. 6th 1951 wreck of PRR's "Broker" which killed 85 and injured 500.

These 10 pages of thumbnails are well worth a look. Color film was expensive in the early 1950s, and most photographers shot black and white, doing their own processing. Color film was also slow and required bright sunlight for correct exposure, making these excellent images more rare.
