A friend was recently telling me that he saw two old locomotive cranes, essentially abandoned on the old Hunters Point Naval Shipyard. These were apparently not part of the GGRM collection. He also thought they were American Hoist and Derrick model 508s, the same model as the one we are reassembling at Travel Town.

Now I'm not looking to take on anymore crane work, but if there really are other model 508s out there that are due to be scrapped, I'd sure like a chance at getting a few specific spare parts.

Anyone else know about these?
