Some recent additions on railpictures.net reference that the 261 had a minor derailment in Duluth yesterday, possibly after the excursion was over. I hope and pray that everyone and the engine is ok.

While the 261 was being turned on the wye in Duluth, on a sharp curve, the #2 driver flange failed to hold the rail and jumped over the rail. The driver stayed hung up on the rail and never dropped down to the ties. A briefing ensued, blocking and portapowers were brought from the tool car, and the situation was rectified. No damage was done, nor was anyone hurt, and 261 returned with her train as scheduled on Sunday to Minneapolis.
