This locomotive used to be at the Midland Railway in Baldwin, KS. It is no longer there, and was definitely sold. Wes Barris's site says it may have gone to Florida. Chatting with a woman at the Midland Railway, she thought it was cut up and parts of it reused in Colorado. But wasn't sure. Anyone have definite news of where/when/what happened to this one?

Well, I can't tell you anything about #10, but this weekend I'll be working on cutting the tubes out of #11, so we can get started on a boiler inspection. Once we get the boiler looked at, along with everything else, we'll try to figure what the restoration costs will be, and then start a fund-raising campaign. Then we'll do the easier part, the actual restoration. If the economics don't work out, we'll at least do a cosmetic restoration. For sure, it won't be cut up.
