Post subject:  Movie making at IRM

Scenes for a movie to be called THE EXPRESS were filmed at the Illinois Railway Museum last week. Jamie Kolanowski posted some pictures on the IRM website at;

Sure looks like it takes lots of people to make a movie.

Great to see #760 alive and well in the scenery. As a young lad I had fond memories of cab rides with #760's sister at Milwaukee's Marquette, Iowa railyard.

Awesome. I know they were looking for locations to shoot this scene for a while.

I've always wanted to mount a camera on a high-rail truck to shoot an oncoming train at speed!

Me too! I doubt Panavision had this in mind when they named their Steadicam-style system, "Panaglide" ;-))
