Report on TrainOrders of a wooden ex-B&O caboose in Lorain, Ohio: "Just south of E.28th St. underpass, behind a factory building. Near where the LA&S swung away from its crossing with the B&O, on the west side of the B&O. I recall it painted yellow. Was not in good condition. Not sure if it still exists."

Any confirmation, update, etc.? I spent a day in Lorain last time I was through and didn't see this one....... though I spent most of my time in the trackside motel along Rt. 6 eyeballing the passing freights, my beer, and the truck loaded with locomotive and passenger car parts until I got the management to lock the latter behind a fence........

Last time I saw it a few years ago it was BAD!. The owner had plans to restore, wouldn't let anyone near it and was his pride and joy. I understand he passed a while back. The roof was caved in and the copula was a 1/4 into the body. I wil try and run by there tomorrow and look. It's a few blocks from the P.O. box and I need to go.

Howdy,

BR&P 278/B&O C2629, Canton & E. 29th, very poor condition, if still there.
