I would just like to thank everyone out there for providing me with some insight on becoming a Class I Conductor. After much discussion with The Mrs., lots of lost hours of sleep, not to mention a brief bout with IBS, I have decided that family is more important than chasing a dream. Somewhere a long time ago, I cannot remember if it was in a dream, someone said it to me, it was in a commerical or whatever the case...I heard the following: "...don't let your hobby be your career or it could ruin you..." I was a Firefighter a number of years back. WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!!! My hobby is just that...railroads. I cannot ever work for one knowing what I know now. Thank you again everyone who contributed. I need my family more than chasing a dream. There will be other dreams...
