Folks,

If any readers are from the Mid-Continent Railway Museum, the Steam Reports are from back in February.

I have been following the reports waiting the day when this famous for steam operation museum can start running steam trains again.

Once they do get their 1472 days of steaming; they have to start on the next one perhaps the C&NW locomotive for which the museum is famous.

I'm the guy responsible for keeping the "Steam Updates" current on the Mid-Continent website. Obviously, I need to get busy on that! There was a flurry of activity on the WC&C 1 when I was there for Snow Train in February -both boiler work and running gear. I missed the riveting though.



The 1385 was still there too, a month before it turned 100.
