Post subject:  Mid-Continent Steam Reports
Folks,

If any readers are from the Mid-Continent Railway Museum, the Steam Reports are from back in February.

I have been following the reports waiting the day when this famous for steam operation museum can start running steam trains again.

Once they do get their 1472 days of steaming; they have to start on the next one perhaps the C&NW locomotive for which the museum is famous.

I'm the guy responsible for keeping the "Steam Updates" current on the Mid-Continent website. Obviously, I need to get busy on that! One of the reasons for the lack of updates though is that our members' discussion board is pretty active with news directly from the shop crew. There was a flurry of activity on the WC&C 1 when I was there for Snow Train in February -both boiler work and running gear. I missed the riveting though.

The 1385 was still there too, a month before it turned 100.
