No date on this 1744 photo, but because of the non-standard headlight, I'm guessing during its Utah operation on the Heber Creeper:

Location: Heber City, Utah
The photograph of 1744 was taken on 600 West Street in Heber City, Utah, just south of the original Rio Grande depot (the tracks are now gone at that location). The photograph was most likely taken in the early 1980s.
