Hi Everyone,

Our next work session will be Saturday June 30 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm!

During our last session we did more fitting of bearings on 355. We had to change out one set of motor support bearings as they were causing some issue with pinion to bull gear alignment. We were able to make 2 trips on the line with success.

We also had to look at car 836s air compressor. Unfortunately, we found some armature banding had come loose and was being thrown off when the pump was cycling. We have started to remove the armature for repair or replacement.

During our next session we will try and finish up work on 355. We have to finish adjusting the side bearers on the trucks. The break rigging needs some final adjustments and modifications. The final jobs will be to mount running boards and clean the car.
