You have to join the CB&Q Yahoo list to see this, but it is a picture of CB&Q 4-8-4 5620 at Galesburg. I believe this was the last of the 4-8-4s scrapped at Sterling, Illinois, about 1964. My understanding is that it was retained by the railroad for a time, for parts for the 5632. Does anyone know more details about the retention and later demise of this engine?
