Greetings: No. 40 is (finally) out of the shop. It will fill in while No. 97 has it's boiler wash and then back in the shop for lettering and finishing the woodwork in the cab. A short artical on the work can be found at our website: www.essexsteamtrain.com in the "Latest News" section. J.David |

That is great news. One of our employees on the A&R is going to Canada in July to visit family and is interested in stopping in Essex to ride behind 40. Do you know when 40 will begin running regularly so I can pass a message on to her? One or two of our owners may be interested in a road trip to Essex to see the 40 as well.
