It seems that some people in Boulder, colorado do not like trains! There were three vandalized rail cars in central Park and the Boulder County Railroad Historical Society was formed to do something about the mess.

They got the coach fixed up and moved to the colorado Railroad Museum and the Colorado & Northwestern #30 is getting a cosmetic restoration in Strasburg, Colorado.

They have been working on the caboose in the park. A number of missing parts have been secured and other missing historic hardware replicated.

Now I see in flimsies that the car has been seriously damaged by fire. I hope it can be repaired.

The folks at BCRHS had better think about security at their Valmont site!

i just can not understand why some human beings want to destroy something that others are working hard to preserve!
