The website Taplines, which deals mostly with the shortline and industrial railroads of Florida and Georgia, has some new pages devoted to the Fellsmere and Trans Florida Railroads, which were different incorporations of the same line. Originally associated with a real estate development, it was mainly a sugar hauler at the end, in 1952. After a series of used 4-4-0s, its motive power was mostly homebuilt railtrucks and critters later on. Interesting reading on this interesting website. http://taplines.net/tfc/tfc01.html |
