Isn't this the site of the well-known old photo of an NC&StL 2-8-0 passing over one of their 4-8-4s?

Bob, you are correct this is the same location. I believe the upper line, the one with the 2-8-0 on it in the photo you mentioned, is the Tracy City branch of the NC.
