Post subject: | David Woodbury and Pullman Sleepers |
Greetings from Australia. I'm restoring a 1901-vintage Australian-built Pullman sleeping car at the Canberra Railway Museum. If you're interested in looking at the progress of this car, you can find it in the following link: www.trains.org.au/rollingstock/al_1040.php The home page will also tell you just about all you need to know about our organisation, the ACT Division of the Australian Railway Historical Society. ("ACT " stands for Australian Capital Territory, a bit like America's DC, I guess) Firstly, I'd like to get in contact with David Woodbury, who restored the B&M Pullman saloon 1246 and who wrote those excellent articles on his efforts in RPN. If anyone can give me his email address, I'd greatly appreciate it. Secondly, I'd really like to make contact with anyone else who's involved with the restoration of similar vehicles. Perhaps we could benefit from one another's experiences. Regards, Bob Hall |
