The last of the Erie/Erie Lackawanna E8's -- the former Erie 833, has returned to its as-delivered livery courtesy of its new owner, the New York & Greenwood Lake Railway.

Here are some images of the finished product, as well as some in-progress views:

Erie 833 and several NY&GL passenger cars will be on display the weekend of July 27-29 in Port Jervis, NY as part of the Port Jervis Centennial celebration.

The Erie Lackawanna Dining Car Preservation Society will be working in conjunction with the NY&GL to provide tours of the displayed equipment. ELDCPS will also have our reproduction China and other merchandise available for sale in support of our continuing restoration of Erie Lackawanna Diner 741.

Congratulations to Ray Clauss and his team at Startrak for an outstanding job!! If she runs half as good as she looks she'll be a super star (or at least as good as a dismal can get!!)
