Just out of curiosity, are there any photos of the K-27s when they still had Vauclain cylinders on the web? I've always wondered what those mudhens looked like before they were rebuilt.

And no wonder! She has her third set of cylinders, her second frame and spring rigging, Walschaerts valve gear in place of the Stephenson she was built with, at least her third tender, and the boiler from 454. As near as we could determine the only original parts left are her rear frame extensions, and possibly her driver wheel centers.
