It sounds now that in addition to brewery and the railroad museum, that a furniture store will be coming to the roundhouse, and museum will have just three stalls? Very glad to hear the table is going to be restored, and reinstalled, but just three stalls for the museum?

Anything new with this roundhouse and the ALCo (S series switcher IIRC) on the turntable? Did the city or furniture store change their mind on the eviction, did the guys find a new location, ...????

Thanks,

Rich C.

A beautifully restored Baldwin, if only a shell. Not sure about the guts of the thing.

Let's remember that, as far as I remember, this place has no connection to live track anymore. Though, yes, it'd be nice to see a nice museum filled with Canadian rail treasures out of the weather, remember that 1) the building is safe for now; 2) the TRHA (museum organizers) seem happy with the outcome and are obviously not biting off more than they can chew for now; 3) one of the other tenants (Steam Whistle Brewing) is perhaps one of THE best and supportive neighbors such a place could ever ask for; 4) this building will continue to be a net contributor to the local urban economy rather than a charity case like many museums; and 5) there's nothin g to prevent the future expansion of the museum at some point if the furniture store and/or the brewery decide to scale back or relocate years down the line.
