Sounds like you have done a lot. Considering how far Portola is from anywhere, you have an impressive group of volunteer workers. |

Thanks for the kind words. Portola volunteers are treated well. Meals and beverages are provided, as well as clean air-conditioned accommodations. The WPRM goes to great lengths to make their people feel welcome and appreciated. It's a long drive for me from Los Angeles, but I enjoy the pleasant change of scenery. Chris Allan |
