UP's Pacific Coast Limited northbound at Greeley, Colorado, probably 1930s:

As an adolescent, I saw the last of UP and C&S steam from this same brick platform in the late 1950s. By then, the north water plug was gone, damaged in a derailment, but the south one remained.

When I was last there a dozen or so years ago, the classic brick depot and platform had scarcely changed, though it now served only Greyhound, Amtrak having dropped its Portland trains a while before. The 1929 depot, designed by Gilbert Stanley Underwood, is now owned by the city and houses the Chamber of Commerce and a visitors center.
