In 1962. Too bad they didn't keep them as other cities did. They could be useful as transportation today.

Apparently running form the 'conduit' as that pic was taken.

Yes the cars are running on conduit track. The last ovehead wire trackage went out of service in 1960. The system was conduit-only for about the last 18 months.
