The Boston & Maine 494 an American type 4-4-0 built by the Manchester Locomotive Works 1892 which is on display in White River Junction, VT. Saved from the scrapers torch by the Railway Enthusiast of Boston, Mass in the late 1930's and restored for the NY 1939 Worlds Fair. This locomotive has been on display in White River for the past 50 years. Glory Days of the Railroad now in its 15th year will celebrate the rededication of the B&M 494's arrival in White River Junction. Come an joins us for a great day of fun.
