The engine house in the background is still there, and looks just the same after 55 years. The 106 has been parked in the car builders shed since 1953 and all but the smokebox has been under cover. The Southern Forest Heritage Museum, which owns the site rebuilt the car builders shed in 2005 so that it covers the entire engine, and has a open side for viewing.
