Post subject:  WP&Y labor agreement

As far as I know, America's only unionized tourist railroad, since the Silverton and the California Western were sold:

From Progressive Railroading:

UTU, White Pass & Yukon Route ratify four-year
contract

United Transportation Union-represented employees
recently ratified a four-year agreement with the White
Pass & Yukon Route Railroad that includes a year of
retroactive pay and staves off major rule changes.

The previous contract expired Dec. 31, 2005; the
railroad and union had been negotiating an agreement
since January 2006.

A tourist railroad, the White Pass & Yukon Route
logged 431,000 passengers during the May-to-September
2006 tourism season. The railroad operates 67.5 route
miles between Skagway, Alaska, and Carcross, Yukon.
