Taken recently at Knotts Berry Farm, with another of D&RGW 340 there also. They have done some nice restoration work there, on both engines and rolling stock. Interesting that when I was there as a kid in 1954, the scenery was mostly real, just old, but authentic buildings, with the trains painted in gaudy fake colors. Today, the scenery looks mostly fake, but the trains look authentic. The two engines have run most every year since 1952 and I doubt the equipment would have fared that well had it stayed in Colorado.
