Duquesne Slag 0-6-0T, 0-6-0

I think the tank engine still exists, but can't remember where (Florida?). The 0-6-0 is labeled 72, but looks like the sectioned engine at Steamtown, which was supposed to be Duquesne No. 8. Anyone have more details?

The tank engine went to Pennsylvania Trolley Museum in 1964. B&O Glenwood shops did some work on it before delivery to the museum in 9/65. It operated there a few times, but interest waned and it was sold in 3/87 to serve as a billboard for a shopping center in FL. Originally USS American Bridge Div. #12 at Ambridge, PA (61559, 11/30), sold via BR&L to DSCo in 1943. The photo shows it at the B&O station in Pittsburgh, brought there for display during 1959 NRHS convention.

The 0-6-0 was originally Spang Chalfont & Co. #8 and Duquesne Slag never changed the front number plate. It is indeed the engine now sectioned at Steamtown after several more owners after DSCo.
