Post subject:  Six wheel trucks possibly available

Hi,

This just went by on one of the passenger car oriented modeling lists. I have no connection with this person, nor any knowledge of the trucks, but there is contact information if someone wants to look into it further. The attachment mentioned is apparently a multi page MS Word document, which I’m sure would be available from the contact.

“Hill Air Force Base has twelve (12) old commonwealth three axle trucks
that were removed during the scrapping of 6 Air Force simulator cars.
These were converted from passenger cars during the 1950s. The trucks
are in extremely good condition, but they are being sold as scrap.
They can be used as railcar trucks if desired. Please see the attached
Statement of Work (SOW). If you have any questions or desire additional
information please contact me.”
